E&B Lab All In One Filter Basket - 58mm (H28)

Italian coffee equipment brand Espresso & Brewing Lab (E&B Lab) has released the All In One filter basket for espresso machine portafilters. Designed for use on any flow- or pressure-controllable espresso machine with a 58-millimeter group, this new basket is versatile, allowing for espresso extractions, filter-style coffee, tea, or cascara brews. The base of the basket features a photo-etched interior membrane that filters down to 150 microns, while a thicker exterior screen with 257 larger holes maintains rigidity without impeding flow.

IMS has introduced their latest innovation, the BIG BANG pattern (BB), which boasts 585 strategically distributed holes. This design, with more holes concentrated towards the center, enhances water distribution to achieve a consistently even extraction and reduce channeling, a common issue in espresso brewing.

The basket stands at a height of 28mm and is recommended for different amounts of coffee grinds based on roast level. For dark roast, 17g to 19g is recommended, medium roast 18g to 20g, and light roast 19g to 21g. Brewing between 13g to 15g is advised.

One of the key features of the ALL IN ONE filter is its versatility in making various recipes using the same filter. To adapt the extraction according to your taste, an espresso machine with pressure profiles is required. This filter can be used for espresso, brewing, infusion, and cafè crème extractions.

Compatible with most 58mm Portafilters and 58.5mm tampers, this basket also fits most E61 Group Head Portafilters. It is suitable for use with a wide range of espresso machine brands such as La Marzocco, Rancilio, Rocket, and Victoria Arduino, among others.
